Reopening School Task Force Information


Purpose

The School Reopening Task Force is intended to be a representative group of Swallow School District stakeholders charged with operationalizing the implementation of federal, state, and local guidelines and recommendations as related to reopening school next year.   This group will consider how to do so in the areas of:

  • Continuity of Teaching and Learning;
  • Human Resources;
  • Operations;
  • Allocation of Financial Resources and
  • Policy Updates as Needed.

Membership Information At their meeting on June 17, the School Board commissioned this Task Force and designated desired membership to include community members with expertise in Business, Human Resources, Insurance/Risk Management, Operations/Logistics, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Health Care and a representative cross-section of school staff. A cross-section of community members and school staff with direct expertise in the aforementioned areas were selected for the Task Force from those who volunteered themselves for consideration.  The list of Task Force members is available HERE.

Meeting Information The expected meeting schedule for the full Task Force is listed below. Subgroups may be formed as needed to provide detailed follow ups to the full Task Force. While agendas and minutes for these subgroup meetings will be available, each subgroup meeting will only be posted on the District calendar on the front of the website and in the Board Agendas/Minutes section section of the website. Materials from the full Task Force meetings will be placed here following meetings.
